After I adopted my first kumantong, I brought it to children playground to observe how the children react to it. There wasn't any response.
I also brought the kumantong to a pet store that sell many puppies. Again, there wasn't much responses expect for a black puppy that keep starting at my bag which I had left about 2 steps away from where I was standing. I had kept my kumantong amulet in my bag.
I have done the same experiment when I adopted my second kumantong. Pretty much the same results. My conclusion is that these 2 kumantong kids are older kids, probably around 5 years old and thus did not like to play with toddlers and babies. And they don't like pet dogs and cats too.
Maybe that is also the reason why they don't like to play with tiny marble balls and rubber balls and the toy cars and appearing in my dreams fighting and shooting guns and wearing fighter pilots uniform.
When young boys, babies or unborn foetes met unexpected early death, and when their souls, for some reason, are stuck on earth and are roaming the streets, being homeless and hungry; some Buddhist monks in Thailand will invite these souls to accept the Buddha teaching and later invite them to reside in kumantong statue and amulet. Human can adopt these kumantong out of kindness and treat kumantong as adopted son and offer them shelter and food until the time when they are reincarnated.
