Kumantong taboo

Things to avoid if you are a kumantong parents. They are not difficult or inconvenient.

• Don't feed blood. The kumantong will turn evil.
• Don't offer alcohol

• Don't place the amulet/bucha/altar under the staircase
• Don't place the amulet/bucha/altar under/near the toilet
• Don't place the amulet/bucha/altar facing the west
• Don't place the amulet/bucha on the floor, place it on the altar 
• Don't place under the bridge
• Don't place the amulet/bucha on the same level as Buddha/other Deities on the same altar
• Don't just adopt a kumantong and bring him home. Inform your house Guardian God first
• Don't just adopt another kumantong and bring him home. Inform first to those kumantong that you have adopted earlier.
• Don't have sexual activities in the room before telling the kumantong to leave the room
• Don't ignore the kumantong. The more you communicate with him the better.
• Don't spoil the kumantong. If he behave badly, tell him sternly not to repeat.
• Don't ask your kumantong to do evil thing
• Don't do evil thing in front of your kumantong or have evil thoughts. They will imitate.
